Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: North Haven, CT
Shift: 2nd 2pm-10:30pm
Pay: $18.35/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas while ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory movement records using scanners or manual logs.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues to maintenance.
Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with general warehouse or production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Physical forklift certification (required).
1+ years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Strong attention to safety and detail when handling products and equipment.
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions accurately.
