Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced carpenter who specializes in interior and exterior door repair and installation. The ideal candidate is confident with consultations, customer service, and working independently in a variety of commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities:
Perform door installations and repairs for both slab and pre-hung doors.
Work with a wide variety of door types including:
o Entry and front doors
o Patio doors
o French doors
o Bi-fold doors
o Closet and interior doors
Replace or install door trim and hardware as needed.
Provide in-home consultations, measurements, and professional recommendations to customers.
Ensure each project is completed with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and the main office.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry, with a strong focus on doors.
The ability to remove and replace both slab and pre-hung doors.
Comfortable with all types of door configurations and installations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Must have own tools, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance.
Self-motivated, reliable, and detail oriented.
Willingness to grow with a small business and build a long-term working relationship.
