Established Connecticut restaurant group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Catering & Delivery to expand and lead our on & off-premise business. This person will oversee all aspects of our on & off-site revenue streams, including catering operations, delivery logistics, and third-party platform management. This role requires a mix of operational excellence, strategic thinking, and sales leadership to grow revenue while ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

o Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies for catering and delivery growth.

o Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase market share.

Operational Oversight:

o Oversee daily catering and delivery operations across all concepts.

o Ensure seamless execution of catering orders, from planning through fulfillment.

o Manage and optimize delivery systems, fleet, and third-party platforms.

Team Management:

o Hire, train, and manage catering managers, delivery coordinators, and support staff.

o Foster a culture of accountability, guest focus, and performance excellence.

Sales & Marketing:

o Collaborate with sales and events as well as marketing to create campaigns and promotions that drive catering sales.

o Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and partners.

Financial Accountability:

o Manage budgets for supplies and equipment, forecasting for scheduling , and P&L for the department.

o Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to maximize profitability.

Guest Experience:

o Ensure all off-premise interactions reflect our brand standards.

o Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in catering, delivery, or multi-unit restaurant operations, preferably in a leadership role.

Proven track record of growing off-premise sales and managing large-scale logistics.

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Proficient in delivery platforms, POS systems, and catering software.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
