About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Catering Chef to join our dynamic team. As a Catering Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our events by overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of culinary experiences.
Responsibilities:
Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menus tailored to the specific needs of each event.
Food Preparation and Execution: Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
Kitchen Management: Lead and manage the kitchen team, delegating tasks, providing training, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
Food Safety and Sanitation: Prioritize food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to all local health and safety regulations.
Event Execution: Coordinate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of on-site catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
Budget Management: Assist in managing food costs and labor expenses to maintain profitability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef in a catering or restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
