We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented bagel roller & Pastry Production Assistant to join our back-of-house team. This role supports the daily production of bagels and baked goods, focusing on dough preparation, hand-rolling and shaping, pastry preparation, and general bakery prep.
The role requires strict adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards, regulated by the local health department, including proper ingredient handling, equipment sanitation, allergen safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and front-of-house area.
Key Responsibilities:
Rolling and weighing out bagel dough, scaling out bakery recipes, keeping deliveries and ordering in check.
Support pastry production, including shaping, filling, and baking
Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
Label, date, and store ingredients and products properly
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or bakery experience preferred
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
Comfortable working early mornings and on your feet for extended periods
This position is Tuesday - Friday from 6am-1pm.
