This role will help various members of the Legal team with diverse legal projects across a number of legal areas. The selected candidate will work with the Arvinas Legal team to support important business and legal objectives. This opportunity will provide the summer intern with exposure to contract negotiations, compliance activities, employment processes, securities and corporate governance matters, legal research, and intellectual property discussions.This position reports to the General Counsel and will be located at our headquarters in New Haven, CT (or Hybrid/Remote).Principal ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, assisting in-house counsel and members of the Arvinas Legal team with the following:

Contract drafting and negotiation

Assisting with implementation of employment and employee related guidance and working with various parts of the business to implement them

Creating, coordinating, and conducting training on various compliance, regulatory law, and corporate topics

Assisting with drafting compliance policies and implementing compliance processes

Interacting with business partners in various functions of the company

Assisting with Securities and Corporate governance matters

Assisting with Intellectual Property matters

QualificationsDesired Experience/Skills/Interest

Interest in a career in Life Sciences and pharmaceutical research and development

Analytical and intellectually curious

Possessing strong verbal, written, presentation and other communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts

Strong organizational skills

Works with a collaborative disposition

Education

Must be a current law student in good academic standing

Must have completed a least 12 credit hours from an ABA-approved law school

Overall cumulative GPA at least 3.00
