As a Pricing Manager at ASSA ABLOY, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing pricing strategies aligned with our operational growth and financial objectives. In this influential and highly collaborative role, you will partner with key stakeholders to identify pricing tactics to drive profitable growth, provide essential direction and decision-support in areas such as list price development, discount management, and analytics. What you will be doing
Partner with internal key stakeholders such a General Managers, IT, Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to define product positioning and pricing strategies, capture competitive pricing intelligence and ensure brand strategies align with ASSA ABLOY's financial performance goals.
You will collaborate with and support Field Sales initiatives to manage all pricing-related requests and activities, including quotations, buy program facilitation, special programs and reporting to support goal attainment.
Develop a deep understanding of key customers’ selling strategies for the brand to ensure alignment with customer expectations while enhancing profitability.
Monitor and document market or economic factors impacting brand performance, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain competitive discount guidance and product margin data for assigned brands in Trackpoint, supporting informed pricing decisions.
Provide diagnostic support to ensure pricing commitments align with customer agreements in the JDE ERP system.
Oversee list pricing and discount updates for assigned brands within JDE, including Price Books, new product developing, discontinuations and discount management.
Participate in project management acting as Subject Matter Expert to guide development of systems and tools.
Contribute insights to monthly leadership reporting and develop training for internal teams on competitive pricing, product knowledge, and market conditions.
Foster a collaborative team environment through knowledge-sharing and cross-training initiatives.
Complete other assigned projects to support the business.
What we are looking for
Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in: Business, Finance, Pricing, Sales Operations, or related discipline(s); will strongly consider commensurate experience.
Must have 5-10+ years’ experience with various aspects of manufacturing and pricing with additional experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Finance.
Knowledge of pricing principles, market analysis, and cost structures is required.
Background in building products or B2B industry is preferred and p roduct knowledge is a plus.
Experience with pricing software, hands-on ERP systems, and/or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce and JDE, preferred). Advanced use of Microsoft Outlook suite with particularly strong focus and use of Excel required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
