Bonsai Bar is looking for some charismatic teachers! No experience with bonsai necessary, we can teach you all you need to know. You just have to be comfortable commanding a room and teaching others.
Bonsai Bar is a pop-up, 2-hour, beginner bonsai workshop held at breweries across New England and beyond. Attendees choose their own tree and ceramic pot and we show them how to pot their tree, style, design and care for it. Once the class is over we continue to mentor attendees in how to care for their trees and even guarantee the trees, or we'll replace it! Classes are fun and exciting as we get more people hooked on this amazing art form.
To start we'll get you some free tickets to come take our workshop yourself and see if Bonsai Bar seems fun to you. If you enjoy yourself and want to join the team you'll start by assisting classes ($150/class). Classes are typically 30 people with 1 teacher and 1 assistant. After 4-6 classes you can start training to teach classes ($200/class). Teachers will need their own transportation to bring class supplies.
