We are looking for one or two host families to care an international student of Hamden Hall Country Day School. One student is 9th grade girl and another students is 8th grade girl in this new school year, 2024-2025.
The student speak English and arriving from China.
Hosting an international student is a wonderful experience for a family that expands their global perspective. A host family provides a home away from home for international students who are experiencing the exciting and formative times of high school. With your help, these students will receive the support, care, and guidance they need to achieve their goals while studying here at Hamden Hall School.

Additionally, host families receive a monthly stipend.
To host a student in your home we ask that you provide and consider the following:
- Hosting one or two female students
- Bedroom and desk for studying
- Bathroom (shared is fine)
- Meals a day on school days, simple breakfast and standard dinner
- Meals a day on the weekends and holidays
- Transportation to and from school (drive, bus or school bus)
- A safe, supportive home
