The Tools Manager oversees the purchasing of tools and manages the inside sales staff. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our tool purchasing and sales operations, focusing on achieving sales targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.DeVivo Companies is a diversified ground transportation dealership and service group. Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the purchasing of tools, including selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Oversee the inside sales staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet performance targets.

Monitor sales activities and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet business objectives.

Work closely with the Parts Manager and other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.

Ensure the inside sales team provides excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing and sales strategies.

Prepare and present sales and purchasing reports to senior management.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Position Requirements:

Proven experience in a purchasing or sales management role, preferably within the tools or automotive industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in using computer systems and software for purchasing, sales, and inventory management.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
