Primary responsibilities:
Perform counter and telephone parts sales
Create and maintain customer service relationships
Ordering, procurement, stocking and billing of parts
Create and receive parts requisitions/purchase orders
Communicate daily with service writers, shop manager and technicians on parts needs
Warranty and dirty core maintenance
Must be proficient with computers and dealership software including Microsoft Office
Shipping/receiving as needed
Maintain clean and organized parts area and warehouse
Maintain adequate supplier and vendor relations
Conduct physical inventory counts as needed
Reports directly to the Parts Manager
Minimum requirements:
3 years' experience in parts/warehousing/inventory control within the automotive/truck/bus parts industry
Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions to parts needs for customers and shop technicians
Ability to achieve and maintain proper parts certifications and training
Valid driver-s license
