Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Planner for a long-term interim hybrid role based in Greater New Haven County, CT. You will play a vital role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the supply chain planning. Collaborating directly with key stakeholders, the Supply Chain Planner will utilize their expertise in forecasting, inventory management, and procurement to ensure the continuity and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage supply chain data and analytics.
Monitor and forecast upcoming product needs and trends.
Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to develop and implement supply chain plans.
Prepare and present insightful and detailed reports to management.
Maintain a constant knowledge of the company’s inventory and purchasing habits.
Ensure the stability and growth of the company's supply chain networks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner, ideally within our specific industry.
Solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, and adaptable to new systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet timelines effectively.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with flexibility and adaptability.
