Description We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team based in Manchester, Connecticut. The role entails managing the contracts process from start to finish, working closely with both our internal teams and external customers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where they will play a critical role in drafting, negotiating, editing, reviewing, and revising contracts.Responsibilities: Oversee the entire contracts process from initiation to completion Draft, negotiate, edit, review, and revise contracts to ensure they meet company standards and legal requirements Collaborate with Sales and R& D teams to align contracts with business objectives Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution Handle Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other sensitive contractual documents Keep abreast of changes in contract law and apply them as needed Manage contract modifications and renewals to meet evolving business needs Ensure accurate contract pricing and terms to protect company interests Maintain detailed records of all contract-related activities for future reference Resolve any contract-related inquiries or issues promptly and professionally Requirements Must possess at least 5 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role or a similar position Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Contract Administration and Contract Management Proficiency in understanding and applying Contract Law and Contract Manufacturing Experience with Contract Modifications, Contract Negotiation and Contract Renewals Familiarity with various Contract Types and Contract Terms Ability to draft contracts and agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements Strong skills in Contract Pricing and the ability to negotiate contract terms effectively Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field is preferred Professional certification in contract management is a plus.
