Expedited Transport Services is seeking a dedicated and professional Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. Operating across the Northeast, this role involves managing both set routes and on-demand deliveries, driving a 26ft box truck. We value reliability, efficiency, and a positive work attitude, aiming to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26ft box truck through set routes and on-demand assignments.
Start times vary daily, and workdays conclude upon completion of the scheduled route.
Adhere to all DOT regulations, including the 11-hour driving and 14-hour working rules.
Utilize cell phone technology for navigation and communication with dispatch.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor, following directions accurately and interacting courteously with clients and team members.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience in operating box trucks preferred, but training is provided for the right candidate.
Ability to manage flexible working hours and changing start times.
Must be friendly, able to follow directions, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
