Job description
The primary responsibility of the Digital Templater is to accurately measure and create templates for countertops and other stone projects, using digital laser equipment and other tools. The Digital Templater will help homeowners, designers and contractors make decisions as well as answer any questions and provide technical feedback. Proficient with digital equipment as well as traditional measuring tools, the Digital Templater will be responsible for submitting templates, drawings, photographs and paperwork to the main office as well as maintaining communication with the project managers, reporting to the Install and Template Field Supervisor.
Must be comfortable with digital technology (e.g. tablets and web-based platforms) and comfortable with learning new tools
Must have exceptional communication abilities, to effectively discuss project details with customers and project managers
Must be detail oriented and possess problem solving abilities
Must be able to use power and hand tools
Must possess a driver's license
Cabinetry, countertop and/or construction experience is desirable
CAD experience is desirable
