Location: Remote/Digital and East Hartford, CT (potential for in-person meetings, but expected to be 99% virtual)
We are looking for a short-term Community Development Coordinator to join our team in East Hartford. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in developing a comprehensive community engagement plan, engage key community stakeholders, secure essential letters of support, and facilitate a community needs assessment survey.
Responsibilities:
- Design and help distribute community needs assessment survey to organizations across the East Hartford area.
- Establish relationships with community leaders and stakeholders.
- Seek support and endorsements from local entities.
- Help organize and conduct community surveys to assess local needs.
Requirements:
- Experience in community outreach, public policy, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local community dynamics; experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.
