Split shift Warehouse Associate

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate (WA) is to accurately and productively satisfy customer requests, pull orders, handle returns, and maintain inventory integrity. The WA will effectively operate all machinery and equipment by demonstrating excellent housekeeping, safety and organizational controls in an appropriate, timely manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor:

To accurately pull, stage, and securely package orders based on delivery date and shipping method

To accurately pull tile for the other Company departments

To utilize shipping software and/or documentation in the creation of shipping labels

To utilize customer/inventory software and create pulling labels and packing slips

To demonstrate superior customer care skills

To safely and efficiently operate moving equipment

To check and manage order accuracy

To report inventory counts, inaccuracies and damages to the Warehouse Supervisor

To consolidate pallets and put away materials

To collaborate with team members to create efficiencies

To demonstrate continuous, excellent safety conscientiousness by following safety standards in all work areas

To safely load delivery trucks based on routing schedule and weight distribution ratios

To continuously maintain exemplary housekeeping standards

To follow company policies and procedures, including best practices guidelines and workplace ethics

To perform other duties as assigned
