Excellent career opportunity: Shipping/ Receiving Professional
We have a shipping/receiving position open for an enthusiastic energetic person. We are a midsize company just north of Hartford CT.
Here is a brief description on duties:
Picking and packing customer orders using a RF barcode scanner.
Shipping orders using shipping software from UPS, Fed-Ex and LTL freight companies.
Shipping raw materials to suppliers for modifications.
Labeling product for traceability.
Receiving and stocking inventory using RF barcode scanners.
Managing warehouse locations and bins.
Conducting inventory cycle counts.
Logistics for domestic and international shipments.
Keeping a clean work environment in a climate controlled warehouse.
Preferred skills:
Previous shipping/receiving experience.
RF Symbol gun experience.
Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Valid drivers license.
Computer/Keyboard skills.
Communication skills including verbal and written.
