Action Water Gardens of Tolland is accepting applications for the following position:
Pond and water feature maintenance and construction tech
We are seeking team oriented individuals, who can meet and or exceed the following:
Duties include: Cleaning/ maintaining ponds and water features.
Construction of projects involving digging, heavy lifting of rock and materials. Use of digging tools, wheelbarrows, basic hand tools and power-washers.
Required Qualifications:
Valid CT drivers License (NO points preferred)
Reliable transportation to and from our location
Landscape construction experience is desired
Must be available Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 6 PM + or -
Some weekend work required throughout the season
Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to bend, stoop and squat throughout the workday
Willing to get hands dirty and work outside under adverse weather conditions
Safety conscious
Good communication skills
Ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, able to follow directions and be a team player
Knowledge of pond or aquarium industry a bonus but not required
Willingness to complete online and field training
Starting pay negotiable based on experience
