Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Representative

Location: Bloomfield, CT, 06152 (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Pay Rate: $18/hour on W2.

Screening Questions:

Can you lift upto 30 lbs and stand for most of the day (about 75%)?

Do you have experience working in a warehouse or similar environment?

Are you comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel?

Have you used manual pallet jacks or manually operated forklifts before?

Are you able to work onsite in Bloomfield, CT, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm?

Duties:

Delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business tasks in Warehouse Services.

Issues tend to be routine.

Provides support for any of the following: processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.

Assists in the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and related reporting per established procedures.

Good knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Services and business/operating processes and procedures.

Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.

Skills:

Support the collection of all delivered and returned IT equipment.

Organize and unbox all delivered and returned IT equipment.

Clean and organize all refurbished devices, prior to being repurposed.

Sort all electronic waste in accordance with Client Policies and practices.

Support the closure of Service Request Management tickets in relation to the returned and delivered IT equipment.

Support end-of-life onsite activities to organize, palletize, and package all end-of-life IT equipment to be provided back to our lease remarketers, or provide all aged electronic waste to our E-waste disposal vendors.

Support activities to update our computer hardware asset inventory systems, which notify the computer hardware asset management team of device whereabouts within our stockroom locations and when in transit for our end-of-life equipment.

Support routine inventory audits and inventory cycle counts.

Partner with cross-functional support teams to support onsite asset management activities.

Keep work areas clean and organized, regularly emptying wastebaskets that accumulate from returned packaging materials.

Experience working in a warehouse environment.

Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Experience with manually operated forklifts.

Ability to spend extended periods of time on your feet.

Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and reach for performing tasks onsite.

Education

High school diploma or GED, bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
