We are looking for a qualified Digital Media Specialist to join our team, reporting to the Director of Marketing. This position will be based out of our Hartford, CT location!If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools and are comfortable creating posts and maintaining client engagement within the common social media platforms like Meta, IG and LinkedIn this job is for you. You will work with different teams to coordinate marketing campaigns, advertising and promotional activities.Essential Responsibilities Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, possibly vlogs, and press releases) Manage end-to-end digital projects under the supervision of the Director of Marketing Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency Monitor Social Media KPI’s Stay up-to-date with digital media developmentsSkills, Knowledge, and Education Proven experience as a Digital media specialist, or if just out of college a portfolio to show some of your work. Comfortability with Adobe Creative Cloud suite Experience with visual communication principles Familiarity with Web Design / WordPress and content management systems Strong verbal and written communication skills BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plusLanguage Ability:Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer and branch needs.Mathematical Skills:Ability to verify and calculate figures such as cost, commissions, credit, rebate and profit, understand and interpret financial data and reports and balance sheets.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer, branch and employee problems and to recommend the proper course of action.
