We are recruiting for an Assistant Teacher 2 at our special ed classrooms in New Britain, CT and Bristol, CT. Candidates should be self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to teaching every student through creative, innovative and meaningful instruction and activities.
This position is responsible for duties similar to that of a Paraprofessional.
Under the direction of the Special Education Teacher, the Assistant Teacher 2 assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans for students providing academic and vocational instruction and supports for individual students inside and outside of the classroom.
Requirements that may be obtained during training include: a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Public Service License - V endorsement.
