As an Area Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of multiple warehouses within a designated area. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely inbounds, outbounds, and inventory checks.
Responsibilities Include
1. Warehouse Operations Management:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of multiple warehouses within the area.
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of inventory inbounding and outbounding with inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
2. Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff
Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
3. Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment.
Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
4. Vendor and Customer Relations:
Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Forklift certification (if applicable).
Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
