This position reports directly to the FP&A Lead and provides critical support to the R&D Finance organization. The colleague's main responsibilities are two-fold: 1) as the business owner of R&D Finance systems (including R&D Mosaic, Compensation Mosaic, SAP BI and the R&D DaViD dashboards), act as the interface between Digital and R&D Finance, and partner with the Digital team to drive continuous improvement of the financial systems and tools; and 2) support consolidation and analytics of financial information (actuals, budget, and forecast data) across the two R&D divisions - Pfizer Research and Development (PRD) and Oncology Research and Development (ORD).The role supports the broader R&D finance organization across two key areas:R&D Finance Systems, with activities including:
Serve as the lead subject matter expert (SME) for R&D Mosaic, Compensation Mosaic, SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and R&D DaViD reporting dashboards. Serve as thought partner and ensure the Digital team can translate our business needs to technical system requirements. Coordinate the Enhancement Request (ER) change control process in partnership with Digital
Ensure current systems continue to operate effectively in our financial consolidation and reporting processes across R&D Finance. Ensure that financial information is properly not only loaded, in a timely manner, into the appropriate systems for actuals, forecasts and budget cycles, but also that a high level of data integrity exists within our reporting environment
Coordinate and validate system maintenance activities
Proactively identify and lead continuous improvements efforts of the finance processes and tools for the R&D Finance organization; through system enhancements and process improvements, enable more efficient forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
In partnership with the Portfolio Finance team, work cooperatively with Digital and DSCoE teams to deliver best-in-class reporting management tools and dashboarding
Lead financial integration activities as needed to drive consistent reporting
Assist colleagues with inquiries regarding R&D Mosaic, Compensation Mosaic, SAP BI, and R&D DaViD. Support and provide training as required
Oversee the security for R&D Mosaic, Compensation Model and SAP BI applications as well as leads periodic audit reviews
Manage three direct reports who are responsible for various aspects of R&D Finance systems, including Activity Tracker and maintenance of our financial reporting hierarchies and metadata
General FP&A Support, in partnership with existing FP&A team members, which may include:
Assist with development of multi-year budget and forecast processes, calendars/timelines and submissions across portfolio and operating lines for both PRD and ORD
Coordinate cross-divisional budget transfers as part of annual Operating Plan process
Prepare ad-hoc analytics across PRD and ORD
Provide month-end reporting to senior leadership, in partnership with R&D Finance Leads; contribute to quarterly internal and external reporting activities
Oversee financial dashboard data and associated commentary, ensuring dashboard is published accurately and on-time each month
Support annual processes including, but not limited to lease accounting compliance, cost allocation models, and R&D benchmark surveys
In partnership with Portfolio Finance team, identify and implement process and system improvements
Ensure compliance with all fiduciary responsibilities and finance policies

Advanced MS Excel skills required. Experience with VBA, Alteryx, and/or data automation/visualization techniques a plus
Experience with Oracle/Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications, as well as Business Objects Web Intelligence reports
7 to 10 years of relevant finance and systems-related experience
Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $131,200.00 to $218,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $118,100.00 to $196,800.00.
