Front-end React Developers Work Partially Remote and Partially in Greenwich, CT or Manhattan, NY

If you answered YES to the previous questions, this job could be the perfect fit for you. Our direct client, a fast-growing FinTech firm, is hiring front-end developers with React experience. In this role, you will work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on one or more of client's software platforms. The Front-End team creates responsive and accessible React components for use across multiple applications and teams.

Responsibilities
  • Working with React 16.9+ to build reusable components with a focus on developer friendly APIs, accessibility and responsive web
  • Upgrading dependencies to keep our tech stack current
  • Architect systems to share common UI modules across repositories
  • Configuring Webpack to optimize build times and web performance
  • Using Storybook to showcase UI components for other teams
  • Working with the UX design team to review wireframes and requirements
  • Educating team members on frontend patterns and tools
  • Automate testing using Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library and Cucumber

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with modern JS frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ES6 concepts
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript build tools like Webpack and Babel
  • Strong knowledge of JS package managers
  • Knowledge of options for sharing JS packages across repositories
  • Commitment to writing maintainable and well tested code
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as LESS and SASS
  • Working knowledge of A11y and responsive web
  • Ability to work in an Agile / Kanban methodology
  • Solid problem-solving ability, excellent communication and collaboration
  • Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or a Math / Engineering discipline
