Job Title: Quality EngineerJob DescriptionThe Quality Engineer will support both Program Management and Operations through all phases of our products lifecycle to ensure the manufacturing and support activities for products are executed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and other applicable regulations and standards. They will work with Project Managers to schedule and complete all new product introduction quality work using available department resources to ensure project timeline commitments are achieved. Responsibilities also include working with the Operations Manager & Production Supervisors to produce quality products, leading the practice of problem solving on the production floor, providing technical support, developing methods for product testing, inspections, generating and controlling documentation, supporting customer complaints resolution, maintaining corrective and preventive action processes, acting as the primary member of the MRB team, supporting the internal QMS audit process, signing off on product certifications, training employees, meeting with operators regarding quality issues, meeting department productivity and quality goals, evaluating and recommending process improvements, working with suppliers on quality issues, and communicating with customers, suppliers, external third-party audit bodies, and governmental agencies regarding quality and compliance issues. Regular, on-time attendance at work is an essential function of this role.Hard Skills
