Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will ensure that all operations and commodity specific objectives are met. Strategic Sourcing Managers develop strong relationships with suppliers, peers, and internal management and customers, which culminate in the establishment of Long Term Agreements (LTAs) and other initiatives, all of which will contribute to company goals. Emphasis on collecting and analyzing data in preparation for LTA negotiations, managing cost reduction initiatives, including engineering, and low-cost sourcing is essential. Success requires SSMs to develop and implement innovative strategies that effectively leverage the commodity's volume to secure cost and capacity advantage.What You Will Do:
Responsible for supplier contract negotiation engagement and support.
Lead and organize activities between suppliers and P&W Program and Technical Employees. This includes attending supplier meetings with technical and program teams that involve tactical transition or production start up discussions.
Coordinate between suppliers and technical teams to support and lead supplier cost reduction activities.
Work closely with PW Transitions team to manage supplier transitions.
Responsible for achieving commodity cost reduction goals through negotiated cost reduction or teaming with Engineering for technical change cost solutions.
Responsible for active support & supplier commitment to meeting Supplier Gold program criteria
Responsible for financial analysis and coordinating with Finance for all cost activity in support of monthly Purchasing Operations Review (POR) meetings with Senior Executive Management.
Assist Account Managers for scheduling, arranging, hosting, and presenting at quarterly forecast reviews with key suppliers to ensure sufficient capacity is secured to achieve 100% on time delivery.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field and 10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, program management, or related field; OR an Advanced Degree with 7 years of experience

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
