Our client, a Chemical and consumer goods manufacturer, that specializes in adhesive technologies, beauty care, laundry, and home care. Is seeking a Chemist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment and work on multiple projects, must be self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and solid communication and interpersonal skills that will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: ChemistLocation: Darien, CTPay Range: $25 USD Per hourWhat’s the Job?
Conduct sample testing and experiments using established procedures.
Evaluate, collect, and record data using a computer into software applications.
Document all necessary entries for quality (standard checks/verifications/etc.)
Operate physical and analytical testing equipment.
Be responsible for general laboratory cleanup and other general lab duties as assigned.
Be able to stand while performing testing for extended durations.
What’s Needed?
1+ year of demonstrated laboratory experience
Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - word, excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to understand and follow directions with method testing and equipment usage/support.
Comfortable and able to work with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
Work in a fast-paced environment and perform assignments with limited supervision associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry or in a technical field
