The Danbury/New Milford Hospitals seek an RRT or CPFT from NBRC. (if you are not RRT, you must be registered within one year of hire.) PRN rate is $42/hour plus shift differentials.Summary:The Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Rehabilitation - is responsible for facilitating the training of patients with pulmonary disease in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities of the program include instructing patients with how to live with chronic disease providing education and exercise.Responsibilities:
Provides pulmonary rehab program education and exercise classes either group or 1:1 two times per week for 6 weeks
Oversees the alumni maintenance exercise program offered 3 times per week
Provides airway clearance 1:1 sessions per physician order
Performs 6 Minute Walk Tests
Fulfills all compliance and database responsibilities related to this position
Performs other duties as assigned by Department leadership
