DescriptionTeam Management:· Manage daily work assignments and schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. Oversee and monitor volume and ensure tasks are completed within time frames.· Oversee daily teller balancing and branch balancing.· Develop and lead regular staff meetings. Communicate process changes, initiate open discussion, and provide written minutes. Implement back up plans during absences.· Develop direct reports and support staff development. Schedule regular meetings to encourage and support development.· Oversee and monitor volume verses staffing· Oversee non accrual maintenance, charge offs, accounting changes as approved by Special Assets.· Oversee Short Sales and REO maintenance received from Special Assets.· Participate in the Loan Workout Committee (LWOC) and other committees as assigned. Loan Operations· Authorize bank/corporate checks and wire transfers within approval limits.· Perform high risk reviews: SWAP transactions and submissions, collateral releases, collateral perfection tracking, PMI cancellations, and affidavit of debt disclosure data.· Supervise the tax disbursement process, oversee system changes, output reports, disbursements, and wires to vendor. Verify payments are made prior to penalty assessments.· Maintain and demonstrate proficiency on all systems utilized by Loan Operations. Identify opportunities that can improve the efficiency of Loan Servicing.· Authorize release of liens. Monitor delivery is within regulatory requirements.· Perform analysis and coordinate annual Fas increases with Finance Department.· Manage year end reporting including 1098/1099· Collaborate with Loan Operations Development Officer on projects, onboarding interfaces including new products, and testing system upgrades.Customer Support· Oversee the Loan Operations Help Line and service request inbox.· Provide support to the Internal Service Center, Lending, and Special Assets Departments.· Respond to escalated service requests and provide problem resolution.Reporting· Review PMI Eligibility Review and Trial· Review 1099 A and C IRS figures for charge offs, foreclosures, and short sales.· Review participation accruals for Lead (Sold) or participating (purchased) Banks. Verify incoming and outgoing payments ensuring accruals reconcile.· Investigate and clear loan control and clearing accounts.· Review and Reconcile internal Deposit accounts related to Loan OperationsHuman Resources· Team Development: motivate personnel and promote workplace enthusiasm; provide opportunities for professional growth through education/training; provide the tools/skills (cross train) necessary for employee growth at USB.· Manage HR processes for direct reports (performance/incentive/introductory period reviews, recruitment, career development, training, interviews, disciplinary/corrective actions, etc.)· Administer Time and Attendance system including daily punches, time away from office and overtime.
