Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Cromwell, Connecticut area. As part of the team you will be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, data entry tasks, and email correspondence. Professionally handle high volume incoming inquiries from clients and volunteers by telephone, email or other methods.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
Identify the customers’ needs, clarify information and provide solutions and alternatives.
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Ensure accurate and efficient data entry.
Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly.
Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks.
Maintain a call log accurately.
Take detailed notes during calls.
Follow-up with necessary parties
Requirements
Proven experience in a customer service role Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls Experience in a call center environment is highly desirable Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail Ability to effectively manage email correspondence Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle complaints effectivelyThis position will be filled by the end of the week.
