We're looking for a talented technologist with team leadership experience to serve as a Lead Software Developer for our client in Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity to provide both hands-on support along with high-level strategic direction, guidance, and subject matter expertise in a collaborative role.

Responsibilities of the Lead Software Developer:- Analyze business requirements and technical strategy to lead design and coding specifications
- Provide technical direction and support to development team members
- Develop, test, and implement new applications, enhancements to existing applications, and resolve customer support problems
- Estimate and plan development efforts, providing input on the team's work prioritization
- Leverage strong system design skills and the ability to evolve existing systems
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in application development in a web-based environment
- At least 5 years of experience with a relational database such as Microsoft SQL Server
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft C# .NET
- At least 1 year of experience as a development team lead
- Broad .NET development: C#, MVC, JS/HTML, and Web API
- Solid understanding of OO, unit testing, GUI, SOA application design
- Experience with relational database modeling and object development
- Experience integrating different systems and platforms
- Experience utilizing Atlassian collaboration tools
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
