Join our world-class, innovative team today.Position Specific DescriptionEmployees in this position oversee the completion of tasks associated with new Distributed Generation (solar and battery energy storage) projects. Employees will manage a portfolio of new projects across the continental United States. The ideal candidate will be based in the Northeast (CT, NH, NY, MA, NJ, DE) with access to a major airport to support the travel schedule. Travel can be expected at 50% of an employee’s time.The team works to ensure the operations teams are set up for success by managing an equipment QA/QC plan from pre-construction to operations. This role’s primary function is to ensure completion of the QA/QC plan and addressing outliers in a timely and efficient manner enabling the success of the operations teams upon completion of construction. In this role, the candidate will coordinate a team of resources which includes both NEE and contractor teams to ensure successful completion of the QA/QC program oversight and management of punch list items. Employees in this role will support the other functional managers as a part of the larger team. Responsibilities will also include assignment of individual construction projects where site visits and inspections will be required.Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge and experience in any power generation or renewable technology, from construction through operations, or any part thereof. Distributed Generation (Solar and BESS) experience is desired but not required. Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent is desired Six Sigma Certification.In addition, you will coordinate aspects of equipment quality inspections required prior to startup. This is an engaged position and involves working closely with various groups such as the OEM’s, construction and engineering, Distributed Generation (Solar and BESS) Operations, and technical service groups.Job OverviewEmployees in this job plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Plans, coordinates and completes project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines

Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes

Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis

Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions

Provides information to internal and external clients on various issues

Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders

Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

The base pay for this position is $63,200.00 to $94,800.00 per year. This range is estimated for this role.
