HIRING ASAP FOR AN EXPERIENCED DRAFTER WITH AN INDUSTRIAL LEADER IN ARCHITECTURAL METAL ROOFING PANELS. Onsite role in Bristol, CT. APPLY NOWDescription:This company is looking for a drafter to join their team to develop standard product details and produce shop/installation drawings of metal panels in commercial, industrial, and architectural applications.
Develop drawings as defined in the scope of work provided by customer submitted drawings and specs.
Interpret information from internal order acknowledgement (products sold) and customer supplied structural and/or architectural plans.
Draw floor plan, elevations, and details per the companies drafting and product standards.
Coordinate panel analysis with company engineering personnel.
Conduct quality checks on peer drawings and bill of materials.
Review and update drawings to customer redline corrections as needed.
Produce bill of material (BOM) list in company format from final approved set of drawings.
Provide take-offs on every project to verify material that will need to be ordered by customer service.
Interface with required internal and external project stakeholders.
Assist sales staff and customer service with current and future projects
Assist architects and customers with new projects/project specific questions
Create submittals for new projects
Skills:-Revit-AutoCAD-Architecture/ Construction Drafting experience Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Tekla (3D design software)
