Description You could be the new Logistics Coordinator for this client of Robert Half! In your role as the Logistics Clerk, the responsibility for working with clients coordinating shipments is important. The other main part of this role is performing a heavy amount of data entry, as well as customer service. As the Logistics Clerk, you will be responsible for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments. Qualified candidates should apply as soon as possible! This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Bridgeport, Connecticut area.Your responsibilities

Report and adjust with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

Keep an eye on, trace, and maintain dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

Attend to guidelines for approving carriers

Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

Perform various administrative duties

Check freight bills and process bills of lading

Requirements - 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

Practical knowledge of Replenishment

Analytics experience required

Solid understanding of documentation

Proficiency in supervising

Proven knowledge of Partners

Clinical Trial Operations experience highly desired

Well-founded grasp of Storage

Quality experience with ST Microcontoller

General familiarity with Supply Chain Logistics

Medical Coverage experience preferred

Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

Ability to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

A candidate who can demonstrate experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions will be in the top tier of candidates for this job
