State overall purpose of this position:

This position will focus on Quality Assurance for outgoing orders. Individual will be responsible for all Quality functions in the facility.

List major activities, which must be performed in order to carry out the purpose of the position as described above:

§ Must be able to perform all the duties and responsibilities of a Quality Inspector.§ With the Manager’s guidance, lead the Quality Assurance Team.§ Keep attendance records, manage and organize schedule and rotating assignments.§ Run, analyze and follow through daily and weekly reports. Such as but not limited to Credits, Mega Order, Redo, Final Inspection, Actual Proofs, Scrap reports.§ Be able to make critical decisions with regards to imprint quality on live orders.§ Maintain databases for QA up to date; such as but not limited to Incoming Inspection Database, Final Inspection Data, Scrap Report up to date.§ Work directly with all Production Supervisors to make sure all issues are addressed and/or rectified properly. Work directly with Shipping Department to make sure work is flowing and orders are final inspected in a timely manner.§ All other tasks assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:

Specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position. Identify specific concepts, courses, training programs or required certifications.

§ Clerical and administrative experience (i.e., typing, filing, etc.) with knowledge of Windows-based software systems preferred.§ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure clarity§ Highly dependable, organized and detail oriented§ Self-starter who takes direction well but also able to work independently initiating projects and ideas§ Solid time management and organizational skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks§ Ability to compile large amounts of data and make recommendations§ Ability to read and interpret job orders. Ability to listen effectively. Ability to effectively convey ideas and information to others§ Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a range of practical problems§ Ability to count accurately.§ Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend and lift (up to 60 pounds).§ Proficient with PC, spreadsheets and other software.§ Flexibility with work schedule; available to work overtime.
