The Director is responsible for 2 CRS Managers and overseeing 5 CRS sites that support 13 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Locations of CRS homes are New Haven, Meriden, and Waterbury. The Director is responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures in relation to on-going program operations and quality assurance in all service areas. This person will market the services in an effort to encourage further program growth as well as successful person-centered planning. Provide oversight of the day to day operation of the program. Be able to Facilitate effective communication between all team members. Be available to rotate on-call as per schedule. DUTIES Supervisory
Receives supervision from the Vice President of Supportive Living Services
Provides on-site supervision and training to the CRS case managers and direct support staff as assigned
Supervises and trains CRS managers in management, program development, and planning skills through ongoing regular meetings and individual meetings
Provides supervision and direction to all levels of program management when on-call after business hours
Serves as a role model to staff to demonstrate professionalism, person-centered principles and the values of the organization.
Financial and Contract Compliance
Reviews staffing patterns of programs to ensure all programs are staffed properly according to levels of supervision and budgets
Reports monthly attendance for all clients on WebResDay
Completes one time funding requests that meets the needs of the individual and submits report of actual expenditures monthly
Continuous Quality Improvement and Program Development
Ensures that all programs are in compliance with all applicable regulations and certification requirements
Coordinates, assigns, and tracks all announced and unannounced site visits including third shifts
Quality Service Reviews and Inspections
Coordinate pre-QSR and pre-inspection meetings with internal team members (CRS Case manager, Vice President of SLS, Behaviorist, Nurse, Senior VP of Program Operations, and VP of Program Compliance and Supports)
Attend all QSR Inspections
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
Skill in identifying and selecting interventions which promote growth and goal attainment for individuals with a developmental disability
Skill in planning, implementing and evaluating interventions for individuals with a developmental disability
Consistent behavior in selecting interventions which are congruent with the values of Marrakech and individuals with a developmental disability
Process skills which are required to plan and implement services for individuals with a developmental disability
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with a minimum of five years of program management and supervisory experience required
A strong background in DDS funded programs and experience using Therap is preferred.
CT Driver’s License is required
Own, insured vehicle to use for work (mileage will be reimbursed at the current reimbursement rate)
SALARY
This position is exempt the starting salary is50,000/yrand will increase to55,575/yrafter completing 6 month intro period.
