Cigna Medicare Part D Stars Program Management Senior Advisor- Hybrid- Cigna Healthcare

The Program Management Senior Advisor position is part of the Part D Stars Team within the larger Stars Center of Excellence department at Cigna Medicare. This role is responsible for developing and executing enterprise strategies to improve Cigna’s Medicare Part D Star measures and related quality measures. This individual will work closely with matrix partners within the Cigna Medicare Stars and Risk Adjustment organization as well as partners in other Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth Health Services departments to achieve company goals for increasing Cigna’s Star ratings.Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Developing new strategies to drive performance improvements in existing or potentially new Part D Stars measures.

Establishing business cases to execute on Part D Stars strategies, including Identification of internal resources and/or external vendors to deliver the products or services.

Monitoring and managing performance of internal pharmacy quality programs, including continuous quality improvement activities to identify and capture program efficiencies.

Analyzing pharmacy quality reporting to drive business intelligence and enterprise strategy.

Collaborating with internal matrix partners and external provider partners on the development of provider- and customer-facing educational documents and/or digital content on the improvement and maximization of pharmaceutical care.

Participating in and leading meetings with business partners as a Part D Stars subject matter expert.

Working in a cross-functional matrixed environment to coordinate Part D Stars activities with other clinical and customer-facing programs.

Leading vendor management strategies for designated partners and monitoring the efficacy of vendor programs

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years professional experience in healthcare or related field

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a Clinical, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or 8+ years of relevant work experience)

Extensive knowledge of the CMS Star Rating System, including Part D Measures

Extensive knowledge of pharmacy claims data, along with a working knowledge of other health plan data, such as eligibility and medical claims

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Strong project management, vendor management, organizational, analytical, communication, and relationship management skills

Must be able to manage ambiguity and work in fast-paced environment

Able to organize and manage multiple priorities

Less than 10% of travel required
