Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a General Office Clerk in Ansonia, Connecticut. The General Office Clerk will be part of our team, focusing on administrative tasks including data entry, customer service, and organizing files. The industry we operate in requires a significant amount of paperwork and documentation, and the efficiency of our operations relies heavily on the accuracy and organization of these documents.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate processing and recording of company's transactions and update customer records. Assist in the movement and organization of standard legal file boxes, ensuring proper labeling and arrangement. Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. Use computer systems to input data, manage files and documents, and conduct research. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to manage tasks and information. Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary. Participate in the disposal of outdated documents and materials, adhering to company policies and regulations. Assist in shipping functions as required, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of packages. Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, promoting a productive work environment.Requirements Demonstrated experience in Administrative Assistance, showcasing proficiency in task management and execution of administrative duties. Exceptional Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and handle customer queries with detail-oriented grace. Proficiency in Data Entry, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy. Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage complex data and perform calculations. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, with experience in email management, meeting scheduling, and calendar maintenance. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, format, and print documents. Experience in Organizing Files, both digitally and physically, maintaining an efficient filing system. Proficiency in Scanning documents, ensuring the documents are clear and legible. Experience in scheduling appointments, managing calendars and coordinating meetings. Knowledge of Shipping Functions, with the ability to efficiently handle packaging, labeling, and dispatching tasks.
