Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Sr. - Public in the tax consulting industry. The role is based in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The successful candidate will work within a public accounting firm, focusing on audit-related tasks and client management.Responsibilities: Process and manage audit engagements effectively and within a timely manner Utilize Thompson Reuters software for audit-related tasks and processes Continually work towards obtaining a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification, as this is vital for progression within the role Maintain accurate records of client accounts and take appropriate action where necessary Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions promptly Work on maintaining a work-life balance while managing a hybrid remote schedule Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial auditing Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Exhibit proficiency in public audit with at least 2+ years of experience Regularly communicate with the team and other stakeholders on work status. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in public auditing or a related field Proficient in conducting financial audits Demonstrated ability to lead audit engagements Must be on a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) track or willing to pursue it Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and professionalism Proficient in using auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of tax consulting industry trends and regulations Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
