A large SW Colorado custom home builder, is seeking a Superintendent/Project Manager who is passionate about building quality custom homes. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the overall management and client communication of the construction of our homes. The position will require the supervision of trades, designated clients and construction sites, working together as a team in meeting our quality standards, schedules and estimates. Position anticipated to be available in May 2019.
Specific Duties Include:
Supervise the home building process to ensure quality and compliance with building codes.
Manage construction schedules and costs to achieve completion of projects on a timely basis and within budget.
Manage subcontractors including scheduling, installation, quality control and cost containment.
Review architectural and engineering drawings to verify that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
Ensure each and every home is complete and defect free for buyer walk through.
Perform all other projects/duties as needed or as assigned.
Adhere to and promote the mission, vision and business philosophy of the company.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in managing all phases of residential building construction including project management, field supervision, quality control and cost control.
Strong organizational, people and computer skills.
A working knowledge of all trades and aspects of home construction.
