Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable individuals to join our highway striping crew. As a Highway Striping Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of road markings. This position involves working outdoors, operating specialized striping equipment, and collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain highway striping equipment, ensuring proper application and safety standards.
Apply road markings and striping according to project specifications and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient and precise results.
Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in highway striping or road marking is highly desirable but not required.
Ability to operate and maintain striping equipment.
Strong attention to detail and precision in executing road markings.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to road construction.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel and work on project “out of town”.
