The Modern West Floral Co. Design Assistant/Flower Farmer position is a seasonal/part time (Thursday/Fridays and some Saturdays) paid position that will assist the lead flower designer with florals for weddings and events. They will be prepping vessels and containers, assembling flower mechanics, creating centerpieces, arrangements and personal florals. They are also required to have the ability and desire to harvest cut flowers in the early mornings, weeding, planting and maintaining the flower farm and processing flowers. We are looking for someone who is very attentive to detail, works quickly and efficiently, who can also transition and do farm tasks as needed, is punctual and reliable and has a positive attitude. The Design Assistant/Flower Farmer position will be working at MWFC’s small flower farm in Silt, CO. They are responsible for their own transportation, lunch, water, and proper attire - tools will be provided.
