Position: Professional Movers & Drivers
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Type: Part Time
Wage: $14 - $16/HR – Depending on experience
Shift: Flexible, Early Mornings – Mid Afternoons
This current opening deals with moving and assembling furniture inside of commercial and residential areas. A great opportunity to get your foot in the door and grow with a family owned company and traveling throughout Colorado for delivery opportunities. An ideal candidate is someone who has great attention to detail, quality customer service and can physically complete the job.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift 100lbs.
Have a valid Driver License – Must be able to drive stick shift
Background Check
Must have fitness skills, above average stamina for physical labor and can lift 50lbs on a regular basis
Strong communication and teamwork skills needed
Job Responsibilities:
Traveling involved - able to go on long hauls and be out of town for up to a
week at a time (This is not an every week requirement but is does come up
from time to time)
Carrying heavy items long distances and up/down stairways
Manually hoisting heavy items
Wrapping furniture and equipment
Box-pack items such as breakables, books, artwork, knick-knacks
Working with moving equipment and tools
Ability to drive a straight or semi-truck
Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment
Providing quality, customer service at all times
Previous Moving Experience (Preferred)
