Meat Processing - Butcher

Small USDA inspected meat processing facility looking for a butcher. Full USDA meat processing operation from harvest to packaging. Multiple species, cattle, swine, sheep, goat. This postion harvests, quarters, and prepares cuts. Working with an experienced team this position is involved with all aspects of processing. This position works in an indoor cooled environment. Gloves, smock, and head covering are provided. Standing, and lifting packaged boxes, and entry into freezer is required. End of shift clean up and other tasks are required. Position requires steady paced work and attention to detail. Additional training will be provided, and wage is based on experience. Successfull candidates will have some practical butcher experience, either in grocery store, meat packing, or restuarants.
