Kennel tech/Dog wrangler: Work outside with the pups! Shifts available working with dogs (be ready to get dirty) and cleaning chores. Shifts are mostly full day but half day is possible with the right candidate. Schedule will include weekends and major holidays. The job also includes at least 2 late evening "kennel checks" of boarding dogs, so reliable transportation is a must. Approximately 30-35 hours per week. Shift start as early as 7 am and end as late as 6 pm.
Ideal candidate does not need experience with dogs, but must be willing to learn, be observant, and be physically ready for anything. We are a small crew and rely on each other for support. For the safety of the dogs and coworkers, Reliability is vital.
Perks include use of the self service dog wash, you can bring your dog to work (with some restrictions, after probationary period), free boarding of personal pets during off season (with some restrictions).
