Description of JobThe salary range for this position is: $32.74 - $45.08 Hourly $2,619.23 - $3,606.46 Biweekly $5,675.00 - $7,814.00 Monthly $68,100.00 - $93,768.00 Annually The work unit exists to promote and ensure the overall quality of the FAMLI Division and performs regularly scheduled internal quality reviews of the work produced by the Employer Services, Overpayments, Customer Success and Case Management departments within FAMLI. Operating within the rules and procedures of FAMLI, the unit will specifically review FAMLI customer contacts, employer accounts, and specific determinations and actions taken on FAMLI claims and employer accounts to ensure rules and standards have been followed, proper determinations made, as well as systems / data accuracy.This position exists to serve as a lead worker and subject matter expert on the administration of the units within the FAMLI Division . Position assists the manager to assign, schedule, and prioritize work activities and assists to evaluate and monitor unit’s work performance. As a work leader and core knowledge subject matter expert, position imparts advanced knowledge, technical guidance, and policy direction to Labor & Employment Specialist on assigned team, peers, supervisor and FAMLI management. Maintains acceptable levels of performance and assure adequacy of documentation, evidence and reasoning applied to cases assigned to the work unit. Position ensures that the unit(s) assigned (eg. Employer Contact Center, Claims Contact Center, Overpayments, Premiums & Private Plans, Case Management, Training) activities are being administered within program guidelines and requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures compliance with applicable state and federal laws, and departmental, division and unit regulations, policies, procedures and/or standards. Assists with integration and assimilation of new or modified policies, practices, or procedures into daily routines. Serves as a content knowledge resource for work unit and peers by answering questions related to the quality program. Position collaborates with peers and supervisors to identify and recommend changes in work processes and/or procedures to improve program quality. Assists manager in preparing and authoring written correspondence to FAMLI Leadership on status reports and inquiries regarding specific audits, providing explanation of actions taken on audits supported by interpretation of Colorado law and/or Colorado FAMLI processes. Ensures propriety of phone calls are accurate and complete. Through demonstrated leadership skills and abilities, professional experience, expertise and knowledge, position identifies and resolves complex claims-related problems and issues; monitors program-audit activities, and serves as a resource to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with inter-group work units including FAMLI management.
