This is an operational shift position dedicated to the support of the Network Operations Center for the administration and management of the United States Space Force (USSF) meshONE-T network.What You'll Be Doing :
Perform continuous monitoring of systems via various tools, responding with appropriate actions to system alarm signals
Responsible for the creation of reports for measuring network utilization while performing traffic analysis, monitoring response times, and performing capacity and trend analysis
Review tickets and perform follow ups with internal functional areas and/or Mission Partners on the resolution of network incidents
Resolve problems between various functional areas to increase network availability to the Mission Partners
Communicate at a high level in both verbal and written form
Work a traditional 2-2-3 Panama rotating shift schedule
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
IAT Level I Active Security+ CE
HS Diploma equivalent and 4+ years relevant work experience or Bachelor's degree and 1+ year(s) relevant work experience
Experience with networking fundamentals (IP addresses and routing)
Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
What Desired Skills You'll Bring :
Any of the following certifications: CCNA, CND, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, Network+, GSEC
Experience with one or more of the following analysis tools: Elastic, SolarWinds, NetBrain, nGenius
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) or other Federal contracts
