Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a knack for engineering maintenance? Alternatively, are you handy (but have never formally worked in Engineering before) and have a great attitude, are a self starter, and work well with others?
We're on the lookout for Engineering Maintenance Technicians 1, 2, or 3 to join the Engineering Team at The St. James Place in Beaver Creek. The St. James Place is a destination for travelers world wide and is where the Swiss ski team stays when they do the world cup races every year.
In this part-time role, you'll play a pivotal role in inspecting and evaluating various systems, offering informed recommendations for enhancements, and conducting routine maintenance and repairs. Your expertise in troubleshooting issues, utilizing preventative maintenance software, and fostering effective communication within the team will be instrumental in delivering top-notch guest experiences.

Responsibilities include:
Inspecting and evaluating systems, machines, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Making informed recommendations for system improvements to enhance guest experiences.
Conducting routine maintenance, installations, and repairs.
Utilizing preventative maintenance software to track asset maintenance.
Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding project status.

Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Part-Time, Year-Round
Pay Rate: $23-$29/hour depending on experience; $1,000 Sign-on Bonus disbursed in four $250 increments every 3 months starting after 3 months of successful work
Schedule: Flexible schedule for employee for up to 30 hours per week! You choose a 3 or 4 day schedule but must work Saturdays and Sundays
Minimum Requirements
Three to six months of relevant experience or training; or a licensed plumber or HVAC repair technician
Proficiency in troubleshooting using available resources
Knowledge of engineering principles applicable to facilities maintenance; Ability to analyze building systems and structures to identify and address issues; Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Certified Pool Operator certification or willingness to obtain one
