As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installer to join our team.
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Installation Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining internet equipment at customer premises. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work comfortably at heights, and a strong commitment to safety practices.
Responsibilities:
Install fiber and copper cabling.
Configure internet equipment, including routers, modems, and antennas, at customer locations.
Safely climb and work on ladders, rooftops, and other elevated structures to complete installations.
Test and troubleshoot installed equipment to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues professionally and efficiently.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and equipment inventory.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in telecommunications, cable installation, or related field preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work comfortably at heights.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with networking concepts and equipment is a plus.
OSHA certifications or training in workplace safety preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
